What We Do...
We are committed to ensure our beautiful blooms and foliage deliver the best experience. We grow them the natural way, without pesticides or herbicides and only use natural fertilisers.
There is always a space that can be filled with something beautiful that will draw in your eye, stir positive emotions and lift your spirits. Beautiful flowers have the power to change how we feel, to open our hearts and minds to happy thoughts and precious moments.
At Carobeth, on our farm in Devon, we grow beautiful, naturally scented and seasonal flowers to fill that space.
Who Are We?
Adrian and Wendy are the main workers on the farm. He’s more into the trees and vegetables and passionate about boats!
Wendy is the champion of the seasonal English cut flower. We have an important feline member, Maisy, who lives in Devon full time and patrols the flower patch daily in search of mice and voles.
Adrian’s mother, Carol, found her happy place in her garden. Wendy’s mother, Elizabeth, always said in times of adversity to go and look at pretty things. Carobeth was born in their memory to cultivate exquisite flowers we can share with you. Through sickness, unkindness and pressures of day to day, we’ve always gone outside to look at pretty things to cheer and relieve.
The Natural Way...
Sustainability
We use a combination of our own compost made on the farm, local recyclable compost with natural fertilisers including comfrey and nettle teas we make ourselves.
Fragrance
Carobeth’s flowers have wonderful natural scent. This only occurs in flowers grown naturally in the right conditions and in their own time.
Natural Spring Water
Not only do we have several natural springs on our land, we're also fortunate to have our own seasonal artesian borehole, which produces naturally pure water without additives.
Homegrown, not flown
Buying locally grown, seasonal blooms helps cut the massive carbon footprint of the flower industry. #Britishflowersrock
